Staging Outdoor Spaces

You need to make a great first impression for your buyers, inside and out. Just like the interior, we want the buyers to feel comfortable enough that they would use the space as is. This will not happen unless your space is clean, clutter free, and staged.

Staging outdoor spaces gets results! Give your potential buyers one more thing to love about your home with these tips:

Clean and Declutter

We can’t start staging until this is done! Mow the yard, rake the leaves, trim the bushes, clean everything, and remove all trash. Hide garbage/recycling containers, remove extra vehicles from the property, get those toys hidden/stored/organized.

Stage

Have Purpose

Create defined spaces that invite the buyers in. Like seating around a firepit, don’t just scatter furniture around the yard.

Be Resourceful

Consider borrowing/renting a few items if needed. You don’t need to go overboard here, a few items can help our buyers imagine how to use the space.

Get Creative, But Keep It Simple

A single bench could define a seating area near an entrance, a small cafe table and two chairs for tea in the garden, or a picnic table and grill for an outdoor kitchen.

Staging Gets Results!

The reason staging continues to be a top trend in real estate is because it works. Studies have shown staging sells homes faster and for more money.

Many of your competitors are going to do as little as possible to sell their home. Some extra effort here will make yours stand out from the other listings! Your photos, videos, and 3D tours will look so much better with staging.

Staging will help get buyers excited to visit your home and pleased when they do!
